Tara has led back-to-back winning election campaigns in Tunbridge Wells, and has been actively involved in six parliamentary campaigns since joining the party in Richmond Park in 2015.
She has the track-record, skill and experience to win here at the next General Election and is uniquely placed to know what it takes. She is deeply committed to winning the seat.
Our pro-European and principled choice
Tara is passionately pro-European. She originally joined the party to oppose a Brexit referendum and has a European background.
She's in politics to create real change for those who need it most and show that that politics can be a force for good in society. She believes ardently that we can - and should - fix our problems in very pragmatic ways, without needing to abandon our principles and compassion. As our next MP, she will stand up for the decent, inclusive and community-minded society we believe in, and work in very practical ways to make our towns and villages the best places to live in 21st century Britain.
